PCH Relay Box for PCH Link Concept (CHB 1123)

The PCH Relay Box is an optional module in the PCH 1420 Link Concept and offers 12 relays for indication of various vibration or process alarms from the PCH 1420 Vibration Monitor.

The PCH Relay Box is easily configured using the PCH Vibration Studio software.

Applications

The PCH Relay Box is an optional module in the PCH Link Concept series. Its 12 relay outputs indicate various vibration and process alarms from the PCH 1420 vibration monitor.

Functionality

The PCH Relay Box is connected to the PCH 1420 Vibration Monitor via a DIN rail bus.

The PCH 1420 and PCH Relay Box are paired and configured with the PCH Vibration Studio software. A maximum of one PCH 1420 monitor can be connected to the R2C bus at a time.

Options

The PCH 1420 vibration monitor comes with different firm ware. Please note the firmware of your PCH 1420 monitor when ordering the PCH Relay Box version 1 or version 2:

Version 1, CHB 1123 / CHF 8400: Up to v.20.30
Version 2, CHB 1123 / CHF 8444: From v.60.00

Casing

The vibration monitor is prepared for DIN rail installation with an IP20 DIN rail enclosure with screw terminals.

Alarm and test functionality

The relays are galvanically isolated and can be activated for test purposes either using the PCH Vibration Studio software or by a Digital Input on the PCH 1420 Vibration Monitor.

In the events of alarms, power outages or system failures, the relays will break the signal chain.
